Jerry "Joe" Jacobs, 72, of Waynesville, passed away November 26, 2025, at Hospice of the Golden Isles.

Joe was an amazing man with a big heart and will be missed dearly.  He retired from Glynn County Public Works and loved fishing and hunting.

Joe was born August 24, 1953, in Brunswick, GA to Jessie Jacobs and Ursula Toole.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy, brothers, Lenard, Wayne, and Jessie Jacobs, and a sister, Linda Johnson.  He is survived by his daughter, Heather Bucciantini, sons, CJ and Zack Deans, a sister, Donna and a brother, Pete, 3 grandchildren, Jerry, Paige, and Brandon, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A service to celebrate Joe's life will be held at a later date.
