Jerry Hoke Kennedy, 84, of Brunswick, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020, at Hospice of the Golden Isles.

Funeral Services will be held from the Gravesite at Palmetto Cemetery on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at 3:00 pm. with Denny Strickland, Jerry Strickland, Bill Haskins, and George Cothran serving as honorary pallbearers. A private visitation will be held for the family.

Jerry was born November 2, 1936 in Brunswick, to Joseph Hoke & Kathleen Herring Kennedy. He was a 1954 graduate of Glynn Academy and very active alumni with the Glynn Academy Class of 1954. He attended South Georgia College, and was a member of Advent Christian Church. He was the owner and operator of Kennedy House & Apartment Rentals, enjoyed playing cards and pool, loved traveling and being with family. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Mary Kennedy, children, Jimmy Kennedy (Linda) of Eulonia, Jeri Faircloth (Ray) of Brunswick, Shari Kennedy Flowers of Brunswick, Brandy Kennedy of Bartow, grandchildren, Woody Kennedy (Lindsey), Erin Sykes (Justin), Christopher Lovett, Craig Flowers (Margie), Garrett Faircloth (Kyndal), great grandchildren, Braxton and Axel Sykes, Abigail & Levi Bishop, Tilly Lovett, Callen Flowers, and Faith Faircloth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to "One Generation to Another", 708 Mansfield Street, Brunswick, GA 31520, or Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, GA 31525.

The family would like to thank the Doctor's, Nurses, and Staff of Hospice of the Golden Isles for the wonderful care they gave to Mr. Kennedy during his stay at Hospice of the Golden Isles.
