Jessica Dawne Owens, 35, of Brunswick, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018.
Funeral services will be held from the gravesite at Palmetto Cemetery on Thursday, February 1, 2018, 11:00 am, with Rev. Darrell Joiner officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Chapman Funeral Chapel from 6:00 until 8:00 Wednesday, January 31, 2018.
Jessica was born January 31, 1982, in Brunswick to Theresa Ray and Edward Roy 'Ricky' Owens, Jr. She enjoyed riding horses at a young age, and was a 2000 graduate of Brunswick High School. Jessica enjoyed spending time with her 2 daughters, who were the loves of her life.
Survivors include her mother, Theresa Ray Woods (Stephen "Stevie"), of Brunswick, grandparents, Oveida & Billy Ray of Brunswick, grandmother, Norma Owens of Darien, daughters, Molly Shay Davis of Brunswick, Zoe Mae Kinlaw of White Oak, a brother, Edward Roy 'Trey' Owens of Brunswick,
an uncle, Jamie Ray, an aunt, Dawn Ray, and cousins, Tori Ray, Jami Lyn Hickman and Katherine Hickman.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Roy 'Ricky' Owens, Jr., her grandfather, Edward Roy 'Pop' Owens, Sr., her great grandparents, William 'Rip' and Juanita Powell, and a cousin, Lisa Dawn Kelly.
