Jimmy Dean Waller, Sr., 63, of Woodbine passed away Friday Dec. 26, 2025, at Pruitt Health Care in St. Marys, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 2, 2026, 5:00pm at Chapman Funeral Chapel with Brother Tommy Whaley officiating.  A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00pm until service time.

Jimmy was born December 28, 1961, in Brunswick, GA to J.D. and Patricia Waller.  He was born and raised in McIntosh County and was a graduate of McIntosh County Academy. After 28 years as a machine operator for Georgia Pacific Gypsum Plant, Jimmy left to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a truck driver. Ultimately, he finished his working career with B & L Trucking..  He enjoyed watching NHRA racing and wrestling, and loved fishing, camping, and any activities with his family.

Survivors include his mother, Patricia Waller of Meridian, GA, his children, Kristie Hewitt (Joshua) of Camden County and Jimmy Waller, Jr. (Shelby) of Townsend, GA, grandchildren, Hunter Hewitt and David Hewitt of Camden County, a sister, Jackie Webster (Harold) of Meridian, and numerous nieces and nephews.
