Jo Ann Brockington Worth, 73, of Waverly, passed away early Sunday morning at Hospice of the Golden Isles.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2021, 11:00 am at Horse Stamp United Methodist Church, with Rev. Doug Goode officiating.  Burial will follow at Horse Stamp Cemetery with David Harvey, Timmy Wilson, Chris Price, Noah Johnson, Nathan Strickland, and Timothy Williams serving as active pallbearers.  A visitation for family and friends will be held at Chapman Funeral Chapel from 6:00 until 8:00 Tuesday evening.

Jo Ann was born October 2, 1947, in Woodbine, Georgia, to John C. and Edna Rozier Brockington.  She had lived all of her life in Camden County, and was a member of Horse Stamp United Methodist Church.  Jo Ann was a loving wife and mother, who enjoyed cross stitching, loved animals, and loved playing with her dog Lily.  She was preceded in death by her father, J.C. Brockington, and a sister, Carolyn Thomas.

Survivors include her husband Clifton Worth of Waverly, her mother, Edna Brockington of Alabama, sons, Jon Worth (Jennifer), and Morris Worth, Jr. (JoAnna) all of Brunswick, a sister, Linda Simpson (James) of Alabama, a sister-in-law, LaVerne Fields (Edmund) of Brunswick, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
