JoAn Mignogna Jordan, 83, of Brunswick, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Southeast Georgia Health System - Brunswick Campus.

JoAn was born May 24, 1941, in West Virginia. She attended high school at Gateway Senior High School, graduating in 1959. She was a true nurturer and homemaker and always unselfishly cared and did for others. JoAn babysat at her home for many years, lovingly calling her flock, "Mema's Kids". She also loved to sew, crochet, and create ceramics in her spare time. Her best times were when she was surrounded by family and friends, she cherished her children more than life.

Survivors include her children, Shawn Lanier (Walt) of Tampa, FL, Joseph M. Mignogna (Holly) and Roxanne M. Thomas (Neil) all of Brunswick, siblings, Gary Patterson, of PA, Cheryl Patterson Krier, of Pickerington, OH, Linda Patterson Taylor (Raymond), of Irwin, PA,  Doug Patterson (Hing), of Burleson, TX,  grandchildren, Jarred Lanier, Devin Lanier, Josie Mignogna, Joseph Michael Mignogna, Rachel Thomas (Andrew Watford), and Ryan Thomas, her canine companion, Beans, special caregivers, Sherri Trudeau, Becky Haraway, Haley Haraway, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Doug and Fern Patterson, brother, Charles Patterson, a brother-in-law, Keith Patterson, and husbands, Rocco D. Mignogna and Laurie 'Boodle' Jordan.

Services to celebrate JoAn's life will be held Thursday, May 1, 2025, 5:00pm, at Chapman Funeral Chapel.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to service time.
