Joel Robert Swager, 61, of Brunswick, passed away July 13, 2022, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick, GA.

Joel was born September 16, 1960, to Robert and Christine Ryder Swager, in West Germany.  Joel had lived in Brunswick for the past 5 years, coming from Inman, SC, and was retired from the United States Coast Guard as a Tugboat Captain in Kodiak, Alaska.

Joel is survived by his wife Judy Graham Swager of Brunswick, mother, Christine Swager of Moore, SC, sister, Jill Swager of Spartanburg, SC, brother, Jeff Swager of Saluda, NC, step-children, Amber Graham Robinson, Ashley Graham, Ashton James Graham, step-grandchildren, Dalton James Robinson, Cam Stuart, Jaxson Graham Cassidy, C.J. & Ava Shaver, Miranda Davis and Peyton Davis, a step great grandchild, Braydon.  Joel was preceded in death by his father, Robert Gibson Swager, his first wife and the love of his life, Lynette Davis Swager, and a step-daughter, Tori Davis.

Services to celebrate Joel's life, will be held, July 27, 2022, 11:00am, from the gravesite at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Inman, SC.
