John Reuben Allen,62, of Midway passed away Monday September 26, 2022 at Memorial Health in Savannah.

Born August 3, 1960 to Lora and James Allen Sr. John lived in coastal Georgia for 48 years. John lived to ride his motorcycle, and was an active member of God & Guns Motorcycle Club. He rode all his life, having his first bike at the age of twelve. John was a second generation commercial fisherman, owning his own boat at fourteen, who also loved being on the water. He was a hardworking salt-of-the-earth man who loved his family.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Vicki Hostetler Kendall, mother Lora Allen, son John R. Allen II, brother Michael Jerry Allen (Dale), four nieces Tiffany Meadows, Patty Lewis, Leah DelRe, Ashlee Faulk, two nephews Michael Allen, Matthew Allen, one great niece Leila Faulk, and great nephew James Faulk. He is preceded in death by his father James William Allen Sr. and James 'Jimbo' Willliam Allen Jr.

A memorial gathering will be held at a later date by the family.
