John Michael Mitchell, 40, of Brunswick, passed away July 25, 2023, at his residence.

A private service will be held at a later date.

John was born August 24, 2023, in Brunswick.  He lived most of his life in Brunswick, attending Glynn County Schools.  In his younger years he was active in baseball, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his parents, Jane Oyler Staszak and Johnny Mitchell (Janet), all of Brunswick,  a son, John Thomas Mitchell, sister, Haley Mitchell Arnold (Ramsey), brother, Reese Mitchell, grandparents, Chuck & Gladys Oyler, uncle, Chuck Oyler.  John was preceded in death by a brother, Kyle Wray, and grandparents, Walker & Gwinnette Mitchell.
