Joy Hill, 71, of Brunswick, passed away Monday, April 17, 2023, at her residence.

The family will be receiving friends from 4-6 PM Friday, April 21, 2023, at Chapman Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Saturday at Waynesville Church of God, with Reverend Bobby Tatum officiating.

Joy was born February 1, 1952, in Atlanta, GA, to William James Abna and Tommie Lee Mitchell Abna.  She was the Regional Manager for D.E.I. Properties, and had lived in Brunswick for the past 10 years, coming from Dallas, GA.  She was a member of Waynesville Church of God, and enjoyed being out in her yard, her dogs, and being with family and friends.

Joy is survived by her husband of 37 years, Rayburn Clayton Hill of Brunswick, sons, Vance Johnson (Kathy) of Arabi, GA, and Terry Johnson (Amber) of Brunswick, a brother, Vernon Abna of Brunswick, a sister, Charlotte Terris of Brunswick, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
