Obituary

Joyce June Duncan Moore passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 17, 2022, after an extended illness.

Joyce was born September 1 st , 1935, to James Russell Duncan and Wynell Keene Duncan Manning.  She was a lifelong resident of Brunswick Georgia.

Neenie, as she was known to all, was a spirited and loving lady who brightened the lives of so many people.  She enjoyed traveling, ocean cruising and spending time with her family.  She was a legendary cook and loved collecting cookbooks from all over the world.  Over the past several years, her health concerns were many, but she fought bravely and was always our rock. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Debbie Moore Campbell (husband Keith); life partner, John Boles; three grandchildren – Jenifer Earle Duckworth (Doke), Justin Douglas Goins (wife Keri) and Laura Elisabeth Harbinson (husband Alex); four great-grandchildren, Emma Doke, Eric Doke, Lily Goins and Brandt Goins; an aunt, Barbara Keene Mullis. Nephews; Larry Crews (Judy), James Duncan, Jr. (Kathy) and John Duncan. She is also survived by several dearly loved great-nephews and a great-niece, along with numerous beloved cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and both of her siblings; Lajannah Lewis and Rod Duncan, Sr.; her beloved husband of 43 years, Earl L. Moore, Jr.; daughter Lynda Moore Keenan and great-granddaughter Angelica Grace Doke.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Chapel at 11:00 a.m.
