Judith Ann Fry (Davidson)

Born May 15, 1943, death September 8, 2024, 81 years old.

Judy Davidson of Brunswick GA, formerly of Mishawaka IN. Died at 3:00 pm. on Sunday September 8th at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital in Jacksonville FL due to complications of a stroke.

She was born to Ivan W. and Edna M. (Matthews) Fry on May 15th, 1943, as their oldest daughter.  She had 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Proceeded in death by her parents and brothers Gary W. Fry, Jerry L. Fry and sisters Karen Clark (Dave), Louise Null (Duane). Surviving brother Keith (Lindy) Fry of Zionsville and her surviving sisters are Sue Bray of Elkhart and Sandra Snyder of Mishawaka.

Judy married Larry D. Flickinger Sr., Richard E. Kyle and Raymond Davidson. All are deceased. She had four children, Larry D. (Elizabeth) of Mishawaka, Carl E. (Nicole) of Melbourne Fl, and Kenneth W. Flickinger (deceased), Barbara Hartman of Brunswick GA.

She loved and took great pride in her grandchildren. She was blessed with 10 grandchildren Jeffrey Sierra (deceased) Dustin Hartman of Osceola, Stephen Hartman of Brunswick GA, Lacey James of Brunswick GA, Jessica Sandvold of Indianapolis, Ryan Flickinger of Goshen, Renae Almony of Goshen, Philip Flickinger of Elkhart, Carl Flickinger Jr. of Elkhart, April Felton of Salem Illinois. Judy also had 12 great grandchildren. God had placed her in a large loving family which gave her many nieces and nephews who loved their Aunt Judo. She always felt special and loved by them all.

Mishawaka was where she was born and raised and loved her hometown. Her career was spent in many of the local coffee shops.  She made friends easily and loved to talk to everyone. Just like her father, she never knew a stranger. Her dedication to her first love Wrestling was unmatched. We all enjoyed her wrestling stories. Bingo was also something that brought her great joy and had many friends that shared this love with her.

As a young girl she accepted Jesus as her Savior in the Missionary Church. She had an amazing memory of the Old Hymns and loved singing them.  In the most recent years, she had become a Media Church member of the Jimmy Swaggart Ministry. Without a doubt she knew who her Lord was and was looking forward to her heavenly home without any pain.

Her request was to have no formal funeral service. Arrangements for cremation have been made. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
