Karen Ritch Linkenheimer, 72, of Brunswick, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Gracemore Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

A service to celebrate Karen's life will be held at Noon on Saturday, July 25,2026, at The Brunswick Elks Lodge,1509 Union St, Brunswick, GA.

Karen was a Registered Nurse, having worked in the operating room at Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta from 1986-1988, then in the operating room at Southeast Georgia Health System Brunswick Campus until her retirement in 2012. Karen was a free spirit who enjoyed dancing and loved her family immensely.

Survivors include her children, Melissa Pipes (Josh) of Brunswick, Dana Linkenheimer of Philadelphia, PA, and Kelli LaRou (Scott) of Dacula, GA, grandchildren, Kelsey Turner (Cody Blades), Allison Person (Jon), Peter LaRou and Sydney LaRou, and a great grandson, Aiden Taylor.  Karen was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Ritch.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Glynn County Animal Services.
