Obituary

Kathleen Elizabeth Jaudon-Williams was born on December 21, 1946, to the late Benjamin Hercules Jaudon, Sr., and Evelyn Glass Jaudon. Two of her brothers and a sister preceded her in death, Benjamin Hercules Jaudon, Jr., Frederick Douglass Jaudon, and Cecilia Jaudon-Jucks. On the evening of March 11, 2023, God sent the death angel into the Hospice of the Golden Isles, releasing Kathy from suffering, and calling her into that new and larger life to live with Him for all eternity.

Kathy received her Associate Degree in Nursing at Brunswick Jr. College and was among the first class to graduate in the Nursing Program. She was employed at the Southeast Georgia Health System for 55 years (Pediatric, Recovery). Moreover, she worked at the Hospice of Golden Isles, Gateway Mental Health Center as well as a directress at Cummings Mortuary. Her most notable occupation is being a cheerful giver, overflowing others with blessings.

Her beautiful life will be cherished by her husband, Clyde Williams as well as her two brothers and two sisters, Joseph Henry Jaudon, Sr.  (Ms. Margie Jaudon), Robert Thomas Jaudon (Dr. Rhonda Jaudon), Patricia Jaudon-Bacote, Fredessa Jaudon, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, friends, and co-workers. While we will miss her dearly, her love will live with us for eternity.

A Homegoing service will be held Friday, March 17, 2023, 11:00 am, at St. Athanasius Episcopal Church, with Father Dewayne Cope officiating.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to services.  An interment will follow the service in Memory Gardens Cemetery with Omega Psi Phi, Lambda Tau Chapter serving as active pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Bill Mitchell, Dr. William Grubb, Dr. Shirley Wilson, Gregory Jaudon, and Joseph Jaudon, Jr.
