Kenneth Howard Anderson, Sr., 89, of Jesup, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024, at his residence.

A service to celebrate Mr. Andersons life will be held Thursday, January 11, 2024, 10:00am, from the gravesite at Palmetto Cemetery.

Kenneth was born November 3, 1934, in Baxley.  He had lived in Brunswick most of his life, graduating from Glynn Academy, and retiring from Georgia Pacific in 1993 after 43 years of employment.  After retirement, he and his wife, Martha, moved to Jesup, where they have lived for the past 30 years.  He was an excellent horseman, enjoyed fishing, and enjoyed his family.

Survivors include his children, Andrea Anderson Rozier of Darien, Kenneth Howard Anderson, Jr. (Sara) of Jesup, Howard Keith Anderson of Atlanta, a brother, Ed Anderson (Cheryl) of Brunswick, and Verdene Whitten Copeland (Ed) of Dover Bluff, grandchildren, Travis Rozier (Brittany), Justin Anderson (Ashden), Austin Anderson (Ashley), Great grandchildren, Tyler Anderson, Reagan Anderson, and Camden Anderson, several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Sheldon Anderson, and his wife, Martha Kinchen Anderson.
