Obituary

It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Kevin Robert Lucke, Jr. who departed this life on May 15, 2025, at 31 years young.

Born in Savannah, Georgia, Kevin, Jr. was the beloved son of Kevin Lucke, Sr., and Jo Lucke. He was a cherished father, son, brother, uncle and a loyal friend to many. His life was defined by his unwavering love for his three daughters: Karleigh, Kendall, and Kamryn. He took great pride in being their dad and they were his constant source of strength, support, and laughter.

Kevin, Jr., had a clever sense of humor and enjoyed being able to make others laugh. His smile was contagious, his heart was big, and he never met a stranger. He was the kind of person who made friends wherever life took him. Whether it was working on the job at the family's furniture store, or out in the community, he always had a way of making people feel welcome, seen, and appreciated.

He was known as someone who would show up for whoever needed a helping hand, regardless of the situation. He lived with a big heart, making every minute count while he was here on this earth with us. He is survived by his parents, Kevin, Sr., and Jo, siblings Brett, Vanna, and Megan, and three children, Karleigh, Kendall, and Kamryn, who will always carry his memory with them, along with a lifetime of stories and shared laughter.

A memorial service will be held at the Chapman Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 5pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association in Kevin's honor. His legacy lives on in his daughters and all who loved him. "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God." Matthew 5:8.
