Kilbourne (Kip) Hancher, 59, of Townsend, previously of Washington, PA, passed away on October 14, 2023, at Southeast Georgia Health System - Brunswick Campus, in Brunswick, GA.  Kip was born January 11, 1964 in Washington, PA, a son of the late Kilbourne O. Hancher, Jr. and Marjorie Riggs Hancher.

Kip is survived by his wife of 30 years, Jamie (Toth) Hancher, 4 daughters, Shannon Arnold, Nicole Hancher (Joshua Riddle), Jessica Hancher, and 4 grandchildren.  Also surviving are a brother, Rodney (Diane) Hancher, stepbrother, Dwight Wiles (Carrie), and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his sister Cheryl Hancher Ward, brother, Leonard Hancher, and stepbrother, George Wiles.

Kip attended Washington High Schol, served in the US Marine Corp for 7 1/2 years as a Radio Operator and Instructor, and retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections located in Waynesburg, PA.

Services, with military honors, to celebrate Kip's life, will be held at a later date in his hometown of Washington, PA.
