Laurence 'Larry' Lau, 85, of Brunswick, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at his residence.

Services to celebrate Larry's life, will be held Sunday, May 22, 2022, 4:00 pm, at Chapman Funeral Chapel, with Rob Owens officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.  A reception will follow in the Event Center.

Larry was born November 6, 1936, in Estherville, Iowa.  He served with the United States Navy, and had been a resident of Brunswick since 1955.  Larry retired from Hercules, Inc. in 1994, and owned and operated Coastal Pump Service.  He enjoyed retirement, which gave him plenty of time to garden,  and ride his Kawasaki Mule with his dog Shorty.

Survivors include his daughters, Nancy Lau McCall (Danny), Becky Lau Clark (David), Susan Lau Rowell (David), all of Brunswick, sisters, Betty McCart of Iowa, and June Dodds of Colorado, grandchildren, Tabatha McCall, Danny McCall, Jr. (Nicole), J.J. McCall, Stephanie Dawkins (Jonathan), Rusty O'Quinn (Cassie), Andrew Clark (Meagan), David Rowel, Jr. (Kasey), and Dustin Rowell (Monica), 19 Great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Krauss Lau.
