Linda Davis Drummond, 83, of Brunswick, passed away November 30, 2023, at Southeast Georgia Health System, Brunswick Campus.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2023, 11:00am, from the gravesite at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Blackshear with Brother Tommy Davis officiating.  Huey Davis, Trey Davis, Nathan Southers, Walt Lanier, Daniel Jay Drummond, and John Drummond will serve as active pallbearers,  A visitation for family and friends will be held at Chapman Funeral Chapel, Monday, December 4, 2023, from 6:00 until 8:00pm.

Linda was born March 30, 1940, in Pierce County to Elmer and Myrtle Henderson Davis.  She was a 1958 graduate of Blackshear High School, and attended South Georgia College in Douglas, GA.  Coming from Albany, GA, she had lived in Brunswick for the past 60 years.  She enjoyed fishing with her husband on his chartered fishing trips.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, a wonderful cook, and the backbone of the family.  Spoiling everyone was her greatest joy.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Daniel Pearson Drummond, children, Larry Davis Drummond (Brenda Faye), and Sara Ortiz, all of Brunswick, brothers, Gene Davis (Margie) of Alma, Huey Davis (Glenda) of Blackshear, and Paul Davis of Blackshear, grandchildren, Larry Dewayne Drummond, Nikki Renee Southers (Nathan), John Davis Drummond (Belle), Daniel Jay Drummond, Marina Denise Ortiz, Lindsey Noel Ortiz, and  great-grandchildren, Lilly, Peyton, Houston, and Zoey.
