Loretta Scarborough,89, of Brunswick, passed away Friday at Homelife of Glynco.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday at Chapman Funeral Chapel with Brother Harold Turner officiating a visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at New Hope Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Jesup with Bobby St. Dennis, Shaun Holton, Danny McIntyre, Jr., Jeremy McIntyre, Danny McCall, Jr., and J.J. McCall serving as active pallbearers.

Survivors include her children; Delrita McIntyre, Danny McCall (Nancy), Diane Holton (Jackie), and Tony McCall, all of Brunswick, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Loretta was born November 23, 1935, in Jesup, GA to Luther Columbus Westberry and Mary Ann Edenfield.  She was a graduate of Wayne County High School and had lived in Brunswick for the past 60 years.  She had been employed as a cashier with Mock's IGA for 30 years, and was of the Baptist faith.  She was a volunteer at Pine Ridge Baptist Church Clothes Closet, loved to crochet', loved Southern Gospel, loved arranging flowers, and loved her dog Sissy.
