When God decides to call one of his followers home, the heavens rejoice for the newcomer. On Sunday, February 5th, while peacefully sleeping, our mom was gently awakened by heavenly angels to answer God's call to begin her eternity with Him. It was a journey she had awaited with great expectations for she knew it would be a joyous reunion with her mom and dad, family and friends. She spoke often of her love for her children and her family and would want all to know that she was in God's hands and soon to be in his presence. She promised to be waiting for us all when we made our own journey to heaven one day.

For those who wish, on Saturday, February 18th, at 2 pm, there will be a gathering of family and friends at the Crescent Baptist Church, where Reverend Justin Ellis will give a special message to add peace to our hearts as we gather together to share our love & respect for a wonderful lady who will always hold a special place in our hearts.

God bless you Mom, you will always be an inspiration! Much love and tears of joy as you begin your eternity. Your children, Tracy and Debbie, and many, many family and friends.
