Mary Christine Howard Wise, 88, of Brunswick, passed away Friday, May 10, 2025 at Pruitt Health - Brunswick.

Mary Christine was born January 22, 1937, in Brunswick, to George Washington Howard and Jeffie Hunter Jones Howard.  She attended Camden County High and had lived in Southeast Georgia all of her life, including Brunswick, Darien, Kingsland, and St. Marys.  She was retired from Gillman Bag Plant as a sewing line inspector and had managed numerous mom and pop's convenience stores in Kingsland.  She enjoyed fishing, was a die-hard Georgia Bulldog fan, and was a member of Northside Baptist Church of Darien.

Survivors include her children, Ann Bryson (Robert) of Brunswick and Ronnie Wise (Shirley) of Kingsland, grandchildren, Jeffery Bryson, Rob Bryson (Bianca), and Grant Wise (Traci), great grandchildren, Leanna & Luke Bryson, Bella Bryson, and Parker Wise, siblings; Ernestine Salter of Garden City, Bertie Mims (Julian) of Raleigh, NC, and Sidney Howard (Charlene) of Kingsland.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, George Wise, and her husband, Ronald Hue Wise, Sr.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 12, 2025, 6:00pm, at Chapman Funeral Chapel.  A private burial will be held at a later date at Whispering Pines Cemetery.
