Michael "Justin" Belt, 33, of Brunswick, passed away Tuesday March 16, 2021.

Justin was born in Brunswick, July 7, 1987. He made this world a better place to live, and God took him home March 16, 2021.  Justin was a wonderful, caring, and compassionate father of Laila and Lily Belt.  He would do anything for his girls.  This is his biggest legacy on earth.  As a friend, he was funny and loving, and he would give the "shirt off his back" for anyone.  He looked out for his friends and always spread joy and laughter.  Many say when others looked down on them, Justin would life them up.  Justin loved fishing, boating, and cooking.  He is known for the hottest sauce on the southside of Brunswick.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 22, 2021, 11:00 am, at The Chapel Midtown, with Pastor Drew Thompson, and Pastor Jay Hanson officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Andrews Cemetery in Darien with Mike Teed, Jarrell 'Black' Warren, Eddie Kirkland, Shawn Gerald, Rex Fulks, and Bo Collins serving as active pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jario 'Gator' Hernandez, Chris Collins, Matt Heavlin, and Samuel Hernandez.  A visitation for family and friends will be held at Chapman Funeral Chapel, Sunday March 21, 2021, from 5:00 until 7:00 pm.

Justin is survived by his two beautiful daughters, Laila and Lily Belt of Brunswick, his mother, Annette Rogers Belt of Brunswick, his father, Clarence I. Belt of Millen, four brothers, Stephen Belt, Ryan Belt, Rocky Thomas (Brittany), and Pete Crosby (Lulu).
