Michael James 'Poncho' Delarco, 61, of Brunswick, passed away Sunday morning at Southeast Georgia Health System.

Poncho was born August 31, 1961, in Brunswick.  He attended Glynn County Schools and was an avid Georgia Bulldog football and Atlanta Braves Baseball fan.

Poncho is survived by his daughter, Mindy Sadler of Pinetops, NC, grandchildren, Makenzie, Kloey, and Kollin Sadler, all of Pinetops, NC, sisters, Diane Drumps, Bunny Sellers, and Vonda Womack, a brother, Bubba Womack, all of Brunswick, numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Womack, his mother, Judy Womack, a sister, Kelly Sadler, and a brother, Joey Delarco.

A floating memorial gathering will be held in his memory at Mary Ross Waterfront Park, on Friday, May 5, 2023, between 4:00 and 5:00pm, please come dressed in your favorite Georgia Bulldog attire.

The family would like to offer a special Thank You to Chris and Serena Scott for their friendship as well as other friends and family that have helped Poncho throughout the years.
