Obituary

Mike  'Hollywood' Douglas, 64, of Brunswick, passed away Monday, at his residence.

Mike was born August 23, 1958, in Atlanta, GA to Ralph Robert Douglas and June Hood Douglas.  Coming from Fernandina Beach, Florida, he was a graduate of Fernandina Beach High School, and had lived in Brunswick for the past 20 years,  He was employed by Sea Island Company as Chief Maintenance Engineer. Mike was compassionate towards others, enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle.

A gathering to celebrate Mike's life, will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023, 5:00pm, at Chapman Funeral Chapel's Event Center.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Lee Douglas, stepchildren, Alana Carter and Austin DuBose, all of Brunswick, a brother, Wayne Douglas and father, Ralph Douglas, both of Fernandina Beach, FL
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105-9959.
