Myrtice Tucker Howard's Obituary
Myrtice Tucker Howard, 93, of Brunswick, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her loving family and under the wonderful care of Hearth Hospice.
Funeral services will be held from the gravesite at Palmetto Cemetery on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, 2:00pm, with Pastor Wilma Byrd officiating.
Myrtice was born in Ocilla, GA, on November 8, 1928, to Jacob and Mary Alice Grantham Tucker. She had lived in Brunswick for the past 75 years. She was a member of Norwich Street Baptist Church, and was a retired cafeteria manager from Goodyear Elementary School. She loved gardening, sewing and cooking for her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Sandy Howard Taylor and Marilyn Smith (Lee), grandchildren, Suzi Knight (Jeff), Jenny Figueroa (David), Wendell Varnes (Rose), and Karen Varnes; 7 great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren. Myrtice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Burel Demery Howard, Jr. and a son, Burel Demery Howard, III.
