Nina Moseley Popwell, 94, of Brunswick, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick.

Nina was born October 5, 1930 in Lyons, GA, to Ernest & Ruth Phillips Moseley.  She had lived in Brunswick all of her adult life, graduating from Glynn Academy, and was a member of Lakeside Community Church.  She enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren and grand dogs, and loved being around her family.  For many years, she took care of children in her home, and was the Nursery Director at Glyndale Baptist Church.  Nina was always positive and optimistic, and was loved by all.

Survivors include her children, Rex Popwell, Teri Gunn, Barry Popwell, and Holly McCollum, all of Brunswick, her sister, Betty Joyce Coleman of Brunswick, grandchildren, Mandy Gunn Stevens, Brandon Gunn (Maranda), Brittany Gunn, Hannah McCollum, Natalie Singleton (Sterlin), great grandchildren, Kaine Gunn, Gage Stevens, Aaron Gunn, Ava Gunn, Sarah Gunn, and Ophelia Gunn.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Slaton Popwell, son-in-law, Brian McCollum, siblings, Mickey McCollum and Ernest Gabriel Mosley, Jr., and a grandson, Slaton Jason Gunn.

A private service will be held at later date.
