Obituary

Patricia Ann Lloyd, 72, of St. Simons Island, Ga., passed away Sunday, Nov 21, 2021 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL.
A memorial service celebrating Patsy's life will be held Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021, 11:30 am, at St. Marks Episcopal Church.
Patsy is survived by a sister, Louise Adams (Warren) of Norwood, GA; a brother, Robert Waller (Claudia) of Warrenton, GA;
a niece, Alison Reynolds (Corbett), two nephews, Mark Adams (Tonya) and Ryan Adams (Maureen); several great nieces and nephews,
and her companion, William Brieg of Sarasota, FL.
Patsy was born July 2, 1949, in Washington, GA to May and Griff Waller.  She was a 1967 graduate of Warren County High School in Warrenton, GA and received a bachelor's and master's degree from Georgia Southern University. Patsy worked in the field of education beginning in 1983 serving as a math teacher, coach, and sponsor, and then, from 1994 as a school psychologist, for a variety of schools until eventually retiring from the McDuffie County Board of Education in 2005.  She enjoyed gardening, travel, and her beloved pets.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to the Mayo Clinic, Department of Development, 200 First St. SW, Rochester, MN 55905 or to the Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia, 4627 US Highway 17 N, Brunswick, GA 31525.
Chapman Funeral Chapel and Crematory of Brunswick is in charge of the arrangements.
