Paula Ayala, 92, of St. Simons Island, passed away May 18, 2025 at Southeast Georgia Health System of Brunswick.

A visitation will be held at 3:00pm Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Chapman Funeral Chapel.

Coming from Texas, she had lived in Brunswick for the past 1 1/2 years, and loved gardening.

Mrs. Ayala is survived by her children; Greg Ayala (Rosemary) of Houston, TX, Chico N. Ayala (Lorena), of Houston, TX, Patricia A Munoz (Alfredo) of St. Simons Island, GA, Mary J. Tavares (Mario), of Jacksonville, FL, Robert M. Rogers of Houston, TX, and Lynda Martinez (Edgar) of Hardeeville, SC, a brother; Johnny N. Mata of Houston, TX, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband; Gregorio Ayala and a son; Raymond Ayala.
