Rafaela Gosnell

Rafaela Cuenca Gosnell, 78, of St. Marys, passed away Friday, September 11,2026 at Southeast Georgia Health System of Brunswick.

Born October 24, 1947 in Manila, Philippines, Rafaela had lived in California prior to moving to St. Marys in 1988. She was employed by Walmart in the clothing department, and enjoyed gardening, bowling, and was an excellent cook. 

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Richard Lee Gosnell Sr., two children, Robin Lewis of Kingsland, Richard Lee Gosnell Jr. of Jacksonville, three grandchildren, Damien Lewis, Malaki Lewis, and Bradley Merical.
