Minister Randy Tapley, Sr., 67, of Brunswick, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Southeast Georgia Health System of Brunswick.

Randy was born October 5, 1955, in Metter, Georgia to Mary Holloway Tapley and Alvin Tapley. He was a 42-year resident of the Golden Isles coming from Jacksonville. He married the love of his life: Patricia Jackson Tapley and together they shared 40 wonderful years.

Randy was a man whose faith and family was paramount. In his spare time, he enjoyed studying the bible, and participated in Outreach Ministry at the Glynn County Jail. By trade, Randy was a grader in the wood yard at Georgia Pacific. He loved watching Florida Gator and Jacksonville Jaguars football and enjoyed watching golf and tennis.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife; Patricia Tapley, three sons; Edward Daniels, Randy Tapley Jr., daughter, Danielle Tapley, four brothers; Isiah Tapley (Heidi), Keith Tapley, Alvin Sampson (Wendy), Rodney Mitchell, two sisters; Annalecia Holloway, Maryann Holloway, grandchildren; Olivia J., Essence, Alijah ,Treyion, Olivia D., Jaydah, Arshawn, Thomas Jr., Tyler, Madisynn, Taeyonna, Noah, Crystal, uncle Willie (Maggie), two brothers-in-law; McArthur Nelson III (Angie), Henry Nelson (Janice), sisters-in-law, Sandy Habersham, Cynthia Nelson, mother-in-law; Ruby Nelson and numerous other loved ones and friends. He is preceded in death by both of his parents, a son; Daryl Jones, and four brothers; Henry Alvin Tapley, Donny Tapley, John Henry Tapley, Willie James Byrd.

Funeral services for Randy Tapley will be Friday, December 16, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Chapel at Noon. Bishop Clarence Addamson will be officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service at 11:00.
