Renetta Mae Geiger Jacobs, 89, of Waynesville, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022, at Hospice of the Golden Isles.

Renetta was born July 21, 1933, in Brunswick, to James Felton Geiger and Daisy Cochrell Geiger.  She had lived in Brunswick, Darien, Montana, and lived the past 5 years in Waynesville.  She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, painting, coloring, playing games with her grandchildren, talking with anyone about the Lord.

A funeral service for Mrs. Jacobs will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 2:00 pm, from the gravesite at Palmetto Cemetery, where her children will share fond memories, and sing her favorite hymns.

Survivors include her children, Rita Harper (Bill), of Jesup, Bruce Jacobs (Polly), of Darien, Rhonda Smith (Harold), of Waynesville, and Chet Jacobs (Sondra) of Waynesville, 7 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leon Jacobs, siblings; Paul Geiger, Albert Geiger, and Rebecca Brigdon, a granddaughter; Kasey Armstrong, and great grandchildren; Brittany Armstrong and Israel Pelletier.
