Ricky Lee King, 47, of Brunswick, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Chapman Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, from 6:00 until 8:00pm,  A family service will be held in Waycross on Wednesday at Hephzibah Baptist Church.

Ricky was born November 30, 1973, in Waycross, Ga, to William Alvin King and Annette Dukes Hulett.  He was a graduate of Ware County High School, and was employed with the Glynn County Board of Education as Facilities Manager.  Ricky was a very kind and compassionate man that enjoyed fishing, traveling, adventure, and racing late model cars at the Golden Isles Speedway.

Survivors include his fiance' - Samantha Cunningham of Brunswick, his mother, Annette D. Hulett of Blackshear, a daughter, Amber Thompson of Brunswick, a step-son, Matthew Thompson of Brunswick, sisters, Sherry Corbitt (Billy) of West Green, GA, and Teresa King of Blackshear, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, William Alvin King.
