Roger Neil Mason, Sr., 73, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Southeast Georgia Health System of Brunswick, after a brief illness.

Roger was born September 3, 1948 to Margaret Elizabeth Carter and Jesse Robert  Mason in Bassett, Virginia. He was Baptist by faith and had a strong belief in God, and his spirituality. Roger was an air-traffic controller by trade, and an antiques dealer at his residence in Middleburg, Virginia. Roger loved vacationing at his second residence of 8 years on St. Simons Island. He adored spending time with his grandchildren, collecting porcelain birds, and had an extensive vinyl collection of 70's, disco, and R & B music. He loved dancing of all kinds, playing card games, and was extremely outgoing and friendly.

Roger is survived by his loving children, Roger Neil Mason, Jr., Elizabeth Eble (Kevin), Linda Mason, two sisters, Betty Moose (Tommy), Pamela Overstreet, six grandchildren, Kristin, Kyle, Abigail, Quinn, Carter, and Michael, great-grandchild Lincoln, and significant other, Caroline Plein. He is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Jesse Robert Mason and David Mason.
