Ron Louis Sobala

Ron Louis Sobala, 78, of Brunswick, passed away September 1, 2026, at his residence.

Ron was born September 9, 1947, in West Palm Beach, Florida to Raul Lopez Castillo, II and Bonelle Brown Castillo.  He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving from 1965 until 1967 with the United States Navy.  He was retired from FLETC in the Engineering Department.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Lea Sobala, sons; Jason Jon Sobala of Miami, FL, Christopher Luiz Pizzano-Sobala (Lauren Franklin Sobala) of Brunswick, grandchildren; Sophia Rose Sobala and Scarlett Belle Sobala, a brother; Anthony Castillo, and a sister; Anita Obuela Grande.
