Roy Thomas Fraser, 77, of Brunswick, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2023, at his residence,

A service to celebrate Roy's life, will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023, 11:00 am, with Brother Bill Manning officiating, with Mike Cannon, Carl Cannon, Don Ho Herndon, Charlie 'Big C' Johnson, members of the Everett City Hunting Club, and the Altamaha River ladies serving as Honorary Pallbearers. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home, one hour prior to service time.

Roy was born February 4, 1946, in Brunswick, to Harold and Mattie Corbitt Fraser.  He was a 1964 graduate of Glynn Academy.  He was a member of Taylors United Methodist Church and attended Everett Baptist Church.  Roy retired from Georgia Pacific Corp. in 2002, where he worked as the Superintendent of the Warehouse.  He was a member of the Everett City Hunting Club, enjoyed hunting, and fishing, and loved spending time on the Altamaha River.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Johnette Fraser, children, Shannon Lokey (John) of St. Simons Island, Brent Fraser (Cyndi) of Delonaga, GA, Chris Taylor (Alicia) and Joseph Reynolds, all of Brunswick, 9 grandchildren, a niece and 3 nephews.  He is also survived by his long time friend, E.D. Gornto, his caregiver, Monica McKinzie (GHC Hospice), and his beloved canine companion "Mud".  Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Mattie Fraser, his brother, Donnie Fraser, and a son, Derek Reynolds.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Georgia Hospice Care of Brunswick, and Georgia Hospice Care of Jesup.
