Ruby Henderson Wells, 73, of Brunswick, passed away May 9, 2026, at Hospice of the Golden Isles.

Ruby was born August 27, 1952, in San Bernardino, CA to Frank William Henderson and Doris Loueda Pierce Henderson.  Coming from Cairo, GA, she had lived in Brunswick since November 2025, and was a retired Dietician from the Montgomery County Jail.  She enjoyed canning vegetables and fruits, and crocheting.  She loved her dog Digger, and loved working as a cook at the Montgomery County Jail.

Survivors include her children, John Miller, Jr (Ann) of Brunswick, Dennis Wells (Amy) of New Carlisle, OH, and Steve Wells (Katrina), of Enon, OH, sisters, Joann Downing (Dwayne) of New Carlisle, OH, and Francis Ortman, of Martin, GA and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee Wells, and a brother, William 'Bill' Henderson.
