Ruth Long Pittman's Obituary
Ruth Long Pittman, 71, of Jesup, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2022, 4:00pm, at Chapman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jackie Holden officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 3:00 pm until service time.
Ruth was born April 29, 1951, in Dallas, GA, to J.D. and Estell Long. Coming from Brunswick, she had lived the past 27 years in Jesup, and was a member of Flynt Branch Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Bill R. Pittman, Jr., a son, Jamie Pittman (Shelley Herrin), grandchildren, Trinity Pittman, Madelyn Herrin, and Wyatt Herrin, all of Jesup, sisters, Hazel Lyons of Waverly, and Joyce Glisson of Brantley County.
Chapman Funeral Chapel & Crematory is in charge of the Arrangements.
