Sandra Moore Harper "Mimi"

May 30th 1947- August 18th 2024

Sandra Moore Harper "Mimi" age 77 passed peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday August 18th 2024.

She was born in Tallahassee, Florida to her parents Clayton Moore and Sarah Freeman Johns moving to Brunswick, GA at the age of six. She graduated from Glynn Academy High School in 1965 and built a home with her husband Jerry Harper and daughter Jennifer West.

Sandra was sunshine. A bright light of love and warmth to her husband Jerry Harper (married 55 years). The love they shared was rare, withstanding time and trials while continuing to grow stronger every day. The admiration and care Jerry showed for her inspired us all. Her biggest pride was being a mother and "Mimi" to her daughter Jennifer West, son-in-law Linton "Bubba" West and granddaughters Emmeline and Ginger. She was a passionate mother and a darling grandmother who lived her life purely to love. She was a caring sister to her siblings Marvin Moore (Debbie Moore) and Marie Rivers and loving owner to her dog BonBon.

Her generosity was limitless, and all those who were lucky to meet Sandra experienced her selfless nature. Additionally, her love for Jesus knew no bounds and was an inspiration to us all. Lastly, her dedication and support guided us all through life's greatest challenges, and we know that is something that will never change.

We will be having a private service for closest friends and family. In lieu of flowers please donate to Holy Nativity Episcopal Church, Hospice of the Golden Isles or to a cause of your choosing in memory of her.
