Sterling Andrew Wood, 24, of Brunswick, passed away February 9, 2026, at his residence.

A gathering to celebrate Andrew's life will be held Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 12:00 until 3:00pm at the Chapman Event Center.

Andrew was born November 20, 2001, in Brunswick, to Donald Anthony Wood and Carrie Ann Boswell.  He had lived all of his life in Brunswick and attended Glynn County Schools.  Andrew was genuinely kind and funny and would always make people laugh.  He loved music, playing his guitar, and skateboarding.  He worked at Goodwill as a Team Leader.

Andrew is survived by his mother, Carrie Boswell (Donnie Spaulding) of Brunswick, and his father, Donnie Wood (Kathy) of Townsend, sisters, Amanda Wood and Evelyn Wood, both of Townsend, grandparents, Cathee and Mac Bollinger of Stockton, GA, uncles, Casey Boswell (Amanda) and Ross Boswell, cousins, Julian Boswell, Holly Boswell, and Merrissa Boswell, his girlfriend, Lindsey Ortiz, and special friends, Markus Donato, Adam Smallwood, Jones Jobe, Nate Iler, and numerous other friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia.
