Tammy Sue Crooms

Tammy Sue Crooms, 67, of Brunswick, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2026, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2026, 1:00pm, at Waynesville Church of God with Pastor Larry Giles officiating.  The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 until service time at the church.

Tammy was born April 25, 1959, in Brunswick, to William Edward Bowen and Margaret Vivian Day Bowen.  She had lived in Brunswick al of her life, graduating from Brunswick High School, and was a very active member of Waynesville Church of God.  She enjoyed camping and boat riding and loved being with family and her beloved cat Jayco.  She was a great mother and Nana, whose favorite color was purple.

Survivors include her mother, Margaret Bowen, children, Kelley Scott (Joey), Jason Crooms, (Ashley), Matthew Crooms (Jessica), and Daniel Crooms (Leslie), all of Brunswick, her siblings, Billy Bowen (Angel) of Brunswick, Keith Bowen (Gina) of Odum, and Melssa Harris (Steven) of Statesboro, grandchildren, Anthony, Kyle, & Aaron Crooms, Alyssa & Zachary Scott, Lidsey & Scarlett Crooms, and Greyson Crooms.  Tammy was preceded in death by her father, William Edward Bowen, and husband, Audrey Dale Crooms.
