Obituary

Thomas C. 'Bobo" Smith, 58, of Brunswick, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 4, 2024, 1:00pm, at Golden Isles Church of God, with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.  A visitation for family and friends will be held at the church, one hour prior to service time.  Employees of Smith & Sons Seafood will serve as honorary pallbearers.


Bobo is survived by his mother, Jean Smith, a brother, Big John Smith (Miranda), a daughter, Graylyn Yants, and a son, Ryan Tyler, grandchildren, Nolen,  Owen, and Coralyn West.  He was preceded in death by his father, W.M. Smith, his son, John Austin Smith, grandparents, Walter & Martha Smith, and Thomas & Lathoma NeSmith,


Bobo was a life-long resident of Brunswick, attended Brunswick High School, and was a member of Golden Isles Church of God.  He was an operating partner with Smith & Sons Seafood and was known as the Shrimp Pimp to locals and out-of-towners alike, delivering shrimp and seafood products throughout the South East.  Bobo enjoyed fishing and boxing, and loved cooking.
