Timothy Robin Overby, 74, of Brunswick, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside in Jacksonville.

A service to celebrate Tim's life, will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2025, 6:00pm at Bay Harbor Church of God,  A visitation for family and friends, will be held from 5:00pm until service time.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Clint Keen, Wendell Keen, Chris Keen, J.R. Partin, Bubba Hutchinson, Donny & Linda Foster, the nurses and staff of Cardiac ICU and Third Floor nurses and staff of Ascension St. Vincents Riverside

Tim was born September 10, 1950, in Gadsden, AL, to Clarence Overby and Mary Ann Hayes.  He grew up in Cincinnati, OH, graduating from Norwood High School with the Class of 1968, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during Vietnam. Tim moved to Brunswick in 1984, and was a member of Bay Harbor Church of God, and played drums with Bay Harbor Praise and Worship Team.  He retired in 2014 from Glynn County Parks and Recreation Department, he enjoyed fishing, and loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Patty Keen Overby, children, Tim Overby, Jr. (Staci), of Kansas City, MO and Robyn Overby Gill of Brunswick, grandchildren, David, Parker, Ashton, and Abigail Overby, and Alli and Mason Gill, a sister, Teresa Overby-Long of Cincinnati, OH.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Scott Overby.
