Tracy Lane Chapman, 63, of Brunswick, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024,
at Hospice of the Golden Isles. Born July 21, 1960, in Brunswick, Mrs. Chapman
lived there with her husband of nearly 45 years, William Lee Chapman. Always a
dedicated worker, Mrs. Chapman and her husband successfully managed their
company, Southeast Logging, for 36 years. In addition to this role, she always
found time to be a loving caretaker for her family. She would do anything she
could to help others in a time of need. She enjoyed photography, watching the
birds at her feeder, collecting shells at the beach, and doing anything with her best
friend and husband, Lee. Mrs. Chapman was a member at First Baptist Church in
Brunswick. With faith and strength, she fought a hard battle with brain cancer. Her
family has peace knowing that she now has a new healthy body in the arms of
Jesus.
Mrs. Chapman was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Mary
Swafford Lane. She leaves behind beloved memories to be cherished by her
husband: Lee Chapman; children: Jeremy Chapman (Dory), and Autumn Meschke
(Paul); grandchildren: Drew Gault, Hayden Chapman, Adelyn and Mikalyn
Meschke; siblings: Jean Lane Wood, John Lane (Donna) and Paul Lane (Gina),
father-in-law: Billy Chapman; sister-in-law: Lency Chapman, brother-in-law:
Michael Chapman, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend the visitation fellowship for Tracy
Chapman to be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at First Baptist
Church in Brunswick, with a funeral service following at 11:00 AM.
