Tully Jackson Parrish, 90, of Brunswick, GA, and Findlay, OH, passed away on Dec. 13, 2020 at Sandusky, Ohio Veteran's Home. T.J. was born Aug. 17, 1930 to the late T.M. and Verdie (Wildes) Parrish. He married Patricia Ann Pritchett October 26, 1968. T.J. is survived by his wife Patricia; three daughters Cathy (Shular) Cox, Jackie(David) Mobley and Heather (Joseph)Laumeyer; 10 grandchildren, Ian (Cherry) Cox, Jarret (Susan) Cox, Ryan Cox, Lauren (Tony) Inglis, Kayce Mobley, Nolan (Andrea) Parrish, Tyler Parrish, James Laumeyer, Arabella Laumeyer and Leo Laumeyer; 10 great-grandchildren, Rowan Cox, Ember Cox, Evan Cox, Trevor Parrish, Keith Parrish, Kamieo Parrish, Kaysin Parrish, Kisle Parrish, Claire Inglis and Kinley Inglis; siblings, Earl (Thelma) Parrish, Idell Snyder, Lewis (Ann) Parrish Joanne (Lester) Wildt and Janice Hipchen, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son , Tully M. Parrish; ex-wife Sarah Elizabeth Smith Hipchen; and siblings, Gerald Parrish T.M Parrish Jr., Sarah Owens, Frank Parrish and Joyce Nyoka Boyette. T.J. joined the U.S. Navy at age 17 in 1947, serving for nearly four years during the Korean War. Most of his time was aboard the USS Floyd B. Parks in the Pacific. Upon returning to Brunswick , he used his GI Bill to begin his long career as a talented brick mason and later, contractor. He worked with partner Roy Self until his retirement in the early 1990s. He lived in his Georgia home overlooking the water until his Alzheimer's demanded full-time care.He moved to Ohio then to Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky. He traveled the world with the Navy, and those memories were some of his lasting ones. He enjoyed reuniting with shipmates at reunions and remembering his youth. He had alove of fishing, gardening and anything outdoors. Above all T.J. loved spending time with his family. The family would like to thank all of the nurses and staff at the OVA Home for their wonderful care, love, and compassion : we are grateful.

A service to celebrate his life, will be held at the grave site at Palmetto Cemetery on June 4,2020 at 10:00 am with Rev. Sam Vernon officiating, speakers Kayce Mobley and bagpiper Leo Laumeyer.
