Vanessa Googe Franklin
Jennifer Vanessa Googe Franklin, 45, of Hortense, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 10:30am, Chapman Funeral Chapel.
The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to service time.
Survivors include her mother, Donna H. Adams of Hortense.
father, Franklin Googe (Carole) of Reidsville,
children, Donna Dowdney of Waycross, Brittany Sloan (Anthony) of Brunswick, Destiny Googe of Brunswick,
brother, Frankie Thompson (Angie) of Sandersville, GA
sisters, Roygina Wood (Homer) of Hortense,
Nikki Durden (Harvey) of Darien,
a brother-in-law, Herman Fincher of Hortense,
grandchildren, Carsten Dowdney, Selina Sloan, Trinity Rowe, Bentley Sloan, Ashton Sloan, Paris Googe, Donovan Googe,
numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Vanessa was born February 28, 1977, in Jesup, GA, she had lived in Hortense most of her life and had been employed by the City of Brunswick, and International Auto Processing. She was of the Baptist faith, and loved spending time with her kids, and grandkids, and taking care of her mama.
