Walter Rudolph Corbin, 86, of Darien, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home of St. Simons Island.

Mr. Corbin was a native of Gadsden, AL, and lived in Darien for the past 20 years.  He was a self employed boat builder and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He was hard working, loved his family, loved people and life, and going to church.

Survivors include his grandson, Blair Corbin of Jacksonville, several nieces, nephews, and step-children.

Funeral services will be held from the gravesite at Whispering Pines Cemetery, Wednesday, December 20, 2023, 10:30am, with Brother Mike Landrum officiating.
