Walter 'Dean' Evans, 78, of Brunswick, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Pruitt Healthcare - Brunswick.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Dean was born August 24, 1946, in Tacoma, WA, to Walter Evans, Jr., and Pauline Markel Evans.  He had lived in Brunswick all of his life, attending Glynn County Schools.  He enjoyed fishing and watching Georgia Bulldog football.

Dean is survived by his siblings; Mike Evans (Millie), and Keith Evans (Lisa), all of Brunswick, and Patti Evans Fry of South Carolina.  He was preceded in death by his father; Walter Evans, Jr. and mother; Polly Markel Smith.
