Wendy McCutchen Lynah, 55, of Brunswick, passed away October 24, 2023, at Southeast Georgia Health System, Brunswick Campus.

A service to celebrate her life will be held, Saturday, November 4, 2023, 4:00pm, at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 126 Stonewall Street, Brunswick.

Wendy was a graduate of Waynesboro-Blakley High School, and earned her Masters Degree from Limestone College in Gaffney, SC.  Coming from South Carolina, she had lived in Brunswick for the past 20 years, and had been employed as a counselor with the Coastal Regional Commission in McIntosh County.  She was an active member and usher at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Brunswick, and was active in her community delivering meals to the needy, and volunteering with relay for Life, and Second Harvest Food bank.

Wendy is survived by her husband of 30 years, Stuart Lynah, a daughter, Gaybrielle Melecio (David) of Orlando, FL, a son, Joshua Stuart Lynah of Kennesaw, GA, brothers, James Crawford, Jr., Jason Crawford, and Julius Shaw (Reba) all of Durham, NC, a granddaughter, Zi'keriah Melecio, and her beloved canine, Noodle.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, for research and education on breast cancer.
