Wesley 'Buddy' Otis Turner, 79, of Hortense, passed away, Friday September 1, 2023, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick.

A service to celebrate his life, will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023, 5:00 pm, at Chapman Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Bill Brown officiating.

Wesley was born in Brunswick, GA, April 1,1944 to Wesley and Sadie Mae Newsome Turner.  He had lived in Darien for 34 years, and in Hortense for the past 2 years.  He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, and was retired from Gulf Stream.  He was a member of Crescent Baptist Church.

Survivors include his children, Kelly Saxton (Buddy) of Bloomingdale, GA, Kevin Spivey (Penny) and and Kenny Spivey, all of Springfield, GA, and Richard Perry (Ashley) of Hortense, GA, grandchildren, Anna Saxton, Corey Saxton, Ashley Spivey, Dane Gardner, Eli Gardner, Emma Mistisshen, Wesley Perry, Caitlin Sapp, and Courtney Sapp.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Turner.
